Hmmm. I remember the Pig War......

A pig plundered the garden of an American colonist and was killed. It was owned by an Irishman who refused to accept payment for the pig. The Americans called for military backup and the British sent warships and.....

The whole thing nearly brought the US and England into a war in the 1850s.

Fortunately, the only casualty was the pig.
