"8 languages I'm speaking and I'm proud to be a bi- and multi-lingual"
1. English
2. Tagalog(Philippine's national language)
Visayan regions in the Philippines:
3. Waray
4. Cebuano
5. Ilonggo
Other foreign languages:
6. Arabic (Kuwaiti and Egyptian)
7. Spanish
8. Hindi (speak and understand few words from India)
"Of course Tagalog and English are my favorites" I love English because it's our secondary language and we were conquered by United States.
I learn Visayan languages because my grandfather and grandmother speaks it.
I learn some Spanish because our Tagalog language is mixed with Espanol. (Even though Spanish was not taught anymore in our school in my today's generation)
I learn Hindi and Arabic languages because, I'm working here in the Middleast for more than five years and my colleagues and superiors are Kuwaiti, Egyptian, Indian, Lebanese, Syrian and Turkish. Everyday I keep on stuying and learning different languages.
"Thank you very much nice question!!!

English is the only language I am fluent in....I do speak some French and a very little bit of German, too....I think English is probably my favourite of those because at least with English, I stand more of a chance of making myself understood!

Hi Sweet Lisa me loverly Welsh lass:
Excellent: Afrikaans (my home lingo);
Quite good: English (Oxfordian / American / Scottish / Australian / South African accents done on request . . . );
Poorly, but enough that I can actually get by: Dutch, German, Zulu, Tswana and a spot of French . . .
My favourite is, however, the language of L-O-V-E . . .! at which I'm seductively excellent!
Ooohhh - nearly forgot: I can speak RUGBY and PUBise too. They are similar, but I think RUGBY actually beats PUBise in swear word vocabulary! (Ask Max - he'll explain the difference!!) I tried my hand at CRICKETise the other day, but it came out all gibberish!! Too many "Howzattt"s. GOLFin is even worse . . . "FORE!! FORE!! FORRREEEE!" all the time, and wishing for birdies and eagles and TEA, I ask you: What's happening to the beer drinkers of this world!

English (duh lol) Spanish fluently, Italian, Japanese (still working on it) and I'm looking forward to learning German soon. You know what I love them all.. I don't learn one unless l like it to begin with and have a genuine interest for it. But they are all really good. If you know Spanish and English those two are fundamental to be able to pick up on any other language with ease. My French teacher told me that and she was right! It helps a whole lot if you already know those two to learn other ones and it makes it allot more easier. However I did not enjoy French much so I quit on that one and picked up Japanese. I didn't enjoy French however there are some people (including some of my friends) who love it. It just wasn't what I wanted it didn't fit me, nothing personal to those who speak french it just wasn't for me. You just have to try whichever interests you and then go from there and chose whichever you like. You might end up loving all of the ones you learn.
