The reason why I'm a misogynist is that women claim they want to be equal to men but it's all a big lie. Women are also some of the most selfish creatures on the planet. Also, women never want to take responsibility for anything. They'll never own up to their part of the problem. I also hate the privileged status of women. Nobody cares for the men. Women are protected and loved in our society. Men are pretty much disposable but yet we're characterized as oppressors. And lastly, in romantic or so called "love" relationships between men and women, women are incapable of true love for men. It's always about them and what we have to do to get them to love us. They don't love men for themselves but rather what men do for them.

I doubt anyone will give you the answer you're looking for.
though this isn't directly related to your question:
I do dislike most feminists because of the double standard they hold upon other women. To be more specific, I think collective feminists are morons and need to not interject their own moral standards into their interpretation of what female empowerment means because it's hypocritical. They're trading the oppression of Man's interpretation of gender roles for their own. It should be an individual choice. Individual feminists (the sect of feminist thought) are cool though, they're pretty respectful of other women's choices.
I'd say most who are misogynists are that way because that's the gender role they were raised to accept. Since gender is a social construction (Hormone's only affect physical appearance and influence emotions, but not necessarily behavior), I would suggest looking at the conditions that misogynists were raised in. Also, I'd look at pornography and misogynist culture that it portrays and how this has influenced male thought. Finally, I would look into traditional gender roles in our society and other societies to see how these coincide with each other.
I don't think most misogynists truly hate women, but I do think that they believe them to be severely inferior to men.

I'm not, and can't figure out why anyone would be. Many of my best friends are women. So are my wife and daughter - what's not to like? I was a male feminist back in the seventies, when that was NOT a popular thing to be.
Maybe if a socially awkward boy was teased and mocked by girls during his puberty it might warp him that way - i don't know. Sorry that's the best I can do - can't explain it.

I think it has to do with issues they had with their mothers while they were growing up. Every misogynist I have ever known had a poor relationship with his mother and he believes that all women are like that.

Well idk if this is what you're asking but:
I dislike women because where I'm from a good percentage of them sleep around and spread diseases and cheat on you and all the other negative bull**** that comes w/ being a slut.
But then I do think about the men as well and they're out there doing the exact same thing so I can't REALLY blame women.
Idk if you would call me a misogynist but I do HATE (with a passion) whores.. they're nothing but trouble.

As for me; being one myself, women are fine; I just hate feminism. Yeah I know what it stands for and I never asked for it. You see I do not believe in equality, at least not in the way they do. To me I am equal with a man cause we can both breathe, love, hate, have sex and go to the loo. Now that's what I call being equal. Oh by the way no man has to like me; if he does he does, he doesn't he doesn't; it's no skin off my nose. I've got enough love for myself to get over it.

I learned from the best - Bill Clinton.
PS - As a faithful husband of 13 years, this was a joke. However, if I were a misogynist, ol' Bill would be a pretty good role model.
