Yeah, basically liquid got into the bag I was carrying the laptop inside of. It worked for a day then started to die down. Now it does nothing. I got it really wet somehow. (Dork of the day...) Do I have any recourse? I mean, is it worth ANYTHING... Anybody want to buy a 10 month old broken but pretty laptop? Boo hoo.. Help me.

First get the battery out, then try to wipe and clean it with distilled water, turn it upside down to try to get rid of as much liquid as possible. If you can, call the Geek squad, they can help you to, or take it to a computer repair shop, or call the manufacturer, or the place of purchase, or all of the above.
I'm going to pray on this one for you.

You would be surprised that if you let it alone for awhile, it may start working. Placing it by a fan to help dry it out is a plus. You may even think about taking it to a shop and allow them to open it up and dry the inside out professionally. Then after that doesn't work, you may want to write it off. Your home owners/ renters insurance may help cover the cost if it was a high end notebook.

Hopefully you got insurance on it. Then you can go ahead and turn it into the store for an exchange or contact the company to replace it. If you didn't have insurance on it, try and find a computer expert who can give you an estimate on if the laptop could be repaired.

You're pretty much damaged. Nothing can be done. If you have insurance on it, better ask the retailer store where you bought it from. Good luck.
