The Beatles were 4 talented musicians who could all write and sing (even Ringo...lol).

The RHCPs learned their instruments as they made records. The singer can't sing a note but his voice is perfect for the songs he's singing. The Beatles greatest 'musical' strength were their 'songs'. The RHCPs greatest strength...period...is their 'songs'. It's all about the songs and both bands paid great attention to their songs.

Give me a break - The Beatles blow the Red Hot Chili Peppers away !!! Their music is still played over 40 years after the band started.

Let's see the RHCP do that ! No way !!!

I agree with Rocket Queen on this one... you can't seriously compare them. Unless of coarse you totally hate one or the other, which I don't. They are from two different times in music history, and they have drastically different styles.

You might as well ask "What's bigger- a flea or an elephant?" In the pantheon of rock'n'roll, there's the Beatles, then there's everyone else.
