What is "Midwife's Formula"?
I know it's some all natural Homeopathic remedy to help you go into labor, but I can't find ANY more information about it on the internet!!
Does it really work??
How well does it work??
Are there any effects on the baby??
What else can you tell me??
P.S. PLEASE BE NICE!!!! I also don't care for "smart remarks" either; thank you!

There are actually all different kinds but my grandmother uses castor oil and quinine. The idea is if u stimulate your bowels it will stimulate labor and there is another reason i just cant remember. My grandmother swears by it but your body has to be ready for labor for it to work ( like if your over due) I tried it at 38 weeks and it didnt work. But ive known alot of people it has worked for.
I dont rememeber the dosage of quinine but you do drink one of those jars of castor oil in some oj. Just be carefull its nasty and it made me puke. And you'll have the worst case of diarea of your life. But hey its worth it if it works.
Oh and no effects on baby

Never heard of it. I had my last 3 babies with a midwife, and all she told me to get labor started was to have sex!
