Poinsettas, my coworker said they are unlucky. Is this true?

no only if you dont have a green thumb and the poor thing dies ,,then it is an unlucky poinsettia:(*

Never heard that. The only negative is that they do ooze a sap which could cause a skin irritation to some people.
