LOL, that song is by Winger, and I was going to suggest it, lol. If it was ugly, try Don't Want You Back by Eamon, lol, it always make you feel better when he did bad!
Classic Aerosmith is bittersweet and cathartic. Journey and Fleetwood Mac are both good and Guns N Roses is a personal favorite. If you want to wallow (we all do sometimes), try Faster Pussycat-House of Pain.
When I'm really down, I listen to Dido (White Flag and Best Day of My Life)
If you prefer country, just turn on the radio, you'll find something! Keep your chin up.
Also:
A Women Left Lonely-Janis Joplin
Sunday Kind of Love, All I Could Do Was Cry-Etta James
Daughters, Gravity-John Mayer
Anything by U2
Some of my favorites!
UPDATE: LOL, Stand by Your Man is Patsy Cline. Also try, Kerosene by Miranda Lambert
ANOTHER UPDATE: Just thought about Changes by Ozzy, of course! And worth nothing, What Goes Around Comes Aroung, by Justin TImberlake (yea, I know, I'll catch flack for mentioning these in the same sentence, but I'm eclectic, what can I say?!) I'm also becoming fond of Amy Winehouse.

"weird" - menomena, you may have never heard of the band, but this is the all time greatest moving on song.....there is a line in the song that goes, "there's no love lost, that i can't find again my dear friend,"
it gets fired up every time
