Attention spans being what they are, the vast majority don't make it a season anyway.
I'll say the vast majority of reality shows. They're cheap to make, the studios make a killing on them, and their simply TV programming experts being lazy.
Other then that, the evening news is a dinosaur. In the day of RSS feeds, the web, etc., why wait till 10PM to see what happened.

Just about any of those new kids' shows. Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Spongebob Squarepants.... I remember a time when kids' shows actually made sense. What's the deal with these new annoyances featuring really stupid characters (i.e., Patrick and Ed)?

I agree MTV should change it's name to GTV (Garbage tv). Every single one of those shows should be cancelled. I also really can't stand the show Journeyman. It's such a lackluster imitation of Quantum Leap that I can't even stand to watch it.

All those crime investigation shows. They are so contrived and the stories are just made up, yet people who watch them seem to think they're real (I should know - my wife is hopelessly addicted to them).
Also, reality shows suck big time. I don't know how anyone can stand them. The epitome of stupid reality shows was Who Wants to Marry a Midget? Can you believe anyone even thought of that, much less a room full of TV executives voting to produce it?
And, I hope I never have to watch an "episode" of American Idol again in my life. I really couldn't give a rat's a$$ about any of that garbage.
