what are differnet kind of candles?

I'm doing a science fair and i have wax, soy, and gel candles are there any others!?

By wax, do you mean paraffin? There's also stearin, beeswax, tallow, whale blubber, bear fat, rapeseed, carnuba, bayberry

There is also palm wax and it is starting to gain in popularity because it ships better in the hot months than soy and paraffin. It is also a vegetable wax like soy but it has a better scent throw than soy.
