I don't like this practice and I wish some women wouldn't do it. It makes the rest of us look bad because some men start thinking of the rest of are frigid because we won't do it. If I want to look at breasts, I can look at mine anytime. I don't need to look at other women's breasts to get my jollies.

It is not acceptable for women or men to "flash" in public. Both will be arrested for indecent exposure.

Because, generally, if an adult female "flashes" an adult male, the adult male in question enjoys the view. Why report what you enjoy? The whole psychology underlying the behavior is different in males and females. If a male "Flashes" a female, it is usually done as an uninvited, affrontive, agressive, invasive behavior, whereas when a female flashes a male, it is done as an invitational, teasing behavior. There isn't much of a concept of female-on-male heterosexual rape (Not that it doesn't exist as a criminal behavior), whereas the reverse is an all-too -common occurance. I hope that this explains things somewhatit boils down to social conventions and psychology.

If you are referring to breasts, men show theirs all the time, and don't get arrested. I walk around all the time bare-chested in the summer. There are places that will arrest women for exposing their breasts however.
When you refer to men flashing, you are referring to them exposing their genitals. If a woman were to do the same, she would likely be arrested as well. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples here.

It depends on what you mean by "flash." I don't think it is acceptable for either gender to be showing their genitalia in public.
And perhaps it isn't so acceptable anymore...Remember Southwest kicking girl off plane for her itsy bitsy skirt?

For the same reason that a movie showing a woman's breasts is rated R and if it shows full frontal male nudity, it's rated X.

because this world is ruled by men(not being a sexist here you do want a truthful answer) and men like it when girls flash them but when a guy does it, not so much
