anyone who calls you...whether they are calling from next door......or europe...there the ones being charged. when someone CALLS YOU...on your house phone, you do not get charged.

No. Long distance calls to a house phone are not charged. You did not get charged for receiving long distance calls on a land line. That is, unless the call is "collect."
