Well, duh! Did any of us get asked "do you want a life or not?" and get to choose. So once we're on the path, we might as well see where it goes. No point ending the journey too soon.

You mean live just for the sake of living? If so, I think most people do that on some basic level. Generally, however, I would not describe my life in that fashion.

Well, since living is all I know to do, I try to make the best of it by doing at least one positive thing every day--whatever that may be. The alternative is to die, and I'm not quite ready for that. At this time I realize that I can't live my life for another person, how ever much I truly adore them. I won't make myself an acolyte any more.

Harry, we all have to do the best we can in this lifetime. The other alternative is too dark to consider. Live for the day and experience all you can out of life, for it is the only one you will remember.
