1. Find a reason to hate it.
2. Find something else that might take up your time and is just as easy to access(though this might defeat the whole "getting rid of an addiction.")
getting angry is not good, but I suggest it to stop something you like.

that was becasue you went to the wrong doctor. It was probably one of those Yahoo appointed doctors and they don't give you a good diagnosis in behalf of your benefit. Get a second opinion.
