Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then select Lock Computer. That way she can do whatever she wants and it'll be locked until you return and unlock the keyboard. Whatever you do, don't unplug the keyboard and plug it back in while the computer is running. It's stupid and bad for your computer.

Have a good one!

The only way to prevent your child from trying to play with the keyboard whilst you are using the computer is to keep the child away from the computer when you are using it. If your child also uses the computer at times, you have to develop a set time for them to do so.

If she only does this while you're away from the PC, you can ctrl+alt+delete to lock the PC while you're away if using Windows XP.

If you mean that she presses buttons while you're in the middle of typing it, the lock will instead need to be placed around the child's hands, I'm afraid.
