Was the marquee imploded or saved (maybe sent to the Boneyard). Also, as a follow up, what about the Sands sign that was on the hotel itself?

The sign is in the "boneyard" and you can actually visit it and other very famous marquees from the time when the Rat Pack ruled. It's called the Neon Museum.

My guess is that it was taken to the "boneyard" or scrapped. I haven't heard if any collector picked either one up
