If the average person drinks their 'required' 64 ounces of water per day and lives to age 80, they will consume 14600 gallons of water. Of course, babies drink less, but some folks drink more (my husband drinks well over a gallon a day), so it works out.

Since an Olympic pool's capacity is: 648,000 gallons, I don't think we are draining the pool!

My calculator is broken. Also I don't drink
enough water to fill an average bath tub in a
lifetime. [even tho I know I should.
