I love to act and don't want to be famous. Is there such a thing that exists in the acting world. Yes and of course the money would be helpful. But I don't want to be famous. What type of parts should I search for? Thanks

There have been tons of "character" actors who have done quite well financially both on stage and in film. Go for parts like the main character's best friend or the next door neighbor. Those actors find work when the stars cannot.

I would say, cross that bridge when you come to it. The chances of you becoming famous are so remote, that it's not worth thinking about at the moment unless you are an exceptional talent with an exceptional look and with exceptional connections. Statistics say that that is probably not the case.

Instead of searching for parts, start searching for schools where you can study and learn how to act.

Have a look at that link for some help in choosing a good school for yourself.

Good luck!

the type of roles you get really depends on your look, talent, and personality
