to make reservations in orlando florida at like some of the big restaurants such as emeril's restaurant, and le cellier, character dining. it says you can make reservations up to 180 days prior. do you need to reserve them with a credit card? because it fine print it says cancellation fees may be charged if you dont show, or if your late etc.

i made my reservations today for may 5th 2008 for Le Cellier but they didnt even ask me for my credit card number? so i dont know if i should call back and give it to them or what? i want the reservations to be secure.

Yes. Otherwise, how would they charge you for a no-show? It must be a problem, or they wouldn't be charging for it.

Yes you use a credit card and just like a hotel reservation if you dont show up they charge a cancellation fee to your account.

Many better restaurants will charge, so it is only good manners to cancel early enough or be a little early for your appointed time. Your credit card is ok to reserve.
