There isn't one. It is completely a matter of opinion. From my point of view, for example, the top 10 looks like this:

10. Detroit Tigers win the World Series in 1945
9. Michigan Wolverines win National Championship four times in a row from 1901-1904
8. Detroit Red Wings win Stanley Cup four times in six years in 1950s
7. Detroit Lions win NFL championships in 1952, 1953, 1957
6. Detroit Tigers win the 1968 World Series
5. Michigan Wolverines win 1997 National Championship
4. Detroit Red Wings win the 1998 Stanley Cup
3. Detroit Red Wings win the 2002 Stanley Cup
2. Detroit Red Wings win the 1997 Stanley Cup
1. Detroit Tigers win the 1984 World Series

It is all relative.

lol its about to be about the JMAC basketball kid from Greece, NY. If you remember he is autistic and played 1 game last year or two years ago and sunk like 6 three pointers in 3 minutes or something rediculous and now dreamworks is in the process of making a movie about him. I know this because my cousin goes to the school he went to and I can live in the same community. Anyways this "great story" is probably gonna be skewed cuz in real life he's a dick and no one likes him, trust me it has nothing to do with his autism. for example, my friend was in line at a mcdonalds around here and JMAC cuts him in line and my friend goes "what are you doing dude" and this asshole goes "do you kno who i am." wow nice right. great american sports story hahahahaa
