If I have a good answer, maybe. Answering first for the sake of answering first, however, has to be about the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. What's up with the people who get on here, type "first," and that's it? Seems kind of pointless and silly to me. Get a life, folks! That said, if someone asks a really concrete, specific question, I like to get in first if I can. No point in being second if your answer is the same as the first person's.

Yeah. When I open the question, I always notice that no one answered yet, so i sit there and think "yes, im gonna be the first one. Then when I press the submit button, i see that a million people already answered before me.

I like to be first so that I don't look stupid when I give an answer that has already been given. I hate it when it says "Be the first to answer" and when you do, you find out you're not the first and your answer is the same as 5 answers ahead of you! I won't answer if I see that the answer I have has already been given. I don't answer just for points like some people do. I just like to be helpful.

more funnier is when people plagurise my answers, and don't actually know what they are talking about and give a totally wrong answer
