In a friendly, the answer would be maybe. Most top clubs do not play their best players in friendlies.
If it was a real competition, the top clubs in CONCACAF (including the clubs in MLS) are not currently at the same level as the top clubs in UEFA like Barcelona or the top clubs in CONMEBOL like Boca. This fact is shown every year at the World Club Championship when the semi-finals are not close contests and the South American Champion and the European Champion steamroll their way to the final.

The Fire could not beat Barcelona tomorrow, it just isn't going to happen. They can and have beat teams like Celtic, but Barcelona is one of the top clubs in the world. Just because they are terrorizing the MLS doesn't quite translate into similar success against the top clubs in the world.
