how screwed up is the catholic diocese?

they think nothing of protecting child molestors by passing them from parish to parish but they suspend a priest for stalking an adult? i know it's not as black and white as that, but tell me, how screwed up are these people that they think so little of children?

A Catholic diocese is a geographic region run by a bishop. Which diocese are you talking about?

In my diocese, the bishops have always protected the kids. We've had two priests mistreat youngsters over the past 40 years and both of them went straight to jail while the bishop stood by the victims and their families.

Granted, this policy was not followed everywhere, as it should have been. But since 2002, the U.S. bishops have taken steps to make it right.

Now then....WHICH diocese are you talking about and WHAT facts do you want to use in your argument against it?
