How does it clean itself?

When an oven self cleans, it heats up to about 550 - 600 degrees F. This basically turns any burned on food to ash. And, the inner surface of the oven is made of a material that the ash won't stick to. So, after the cleaning cycle, you can let the oven cool and then wipe up the ash.

Actually when you put it on clean the oven gets to a high temp and turns everything in the oven to ashes so all you need do is wipe them up so you could say it burns the stains off. takes 4.5 hrs.
