He was a crappy wrestler whose body was his only selling point. Once it shrunk because he had to stop taking steroids for the testing, he was pretty much done.
I do hope he does well in his future endeavors, but still, he probably doesn't have anywhere to go if TNA doesn't pick him up, since he can't wrestle so no indy would really want him except for name value.

Hi Shane-I couldn't agree with you more. Masters had enough chances to get his act together and he just didn't pay attention. Now he has to pay the price. I hope TNA don't pick him up either, they could have the same trouble with him as the WWE had.

With all the controversy surrounding the WWE right now it's definitely no suprise at all that he got released. He just got back from another suspension, and then he goes and gets suspended once again, and now they finally release him.

FINALLY.
I am not surprised he's gone. At this point, all he did was serve suspension time and appear to do boring "Masterlock Challenges" against people. The guy was getting nowhere with his lack of matches and mic skills.
TNA and other promotions would be foolish to take him.

He was one of the worst wrestlers on the roster and has an obvious problem with steroids. The WWE was right to get rid of him. I also read online that he was a problem with other wrestlers backstage.
