I am in the market for a second vehicle. I'm going to look at a vehicle tonight and I don't know too much about it. I need something reliable and dependable. I'm 5 months pregnant and have a 5 year old son. I don't want to get stranded when using this car. So i need basics. Any problems with Celebrity mid 80's to 90? The car looks in good condition and is said to run great. All that came from a mechanic. Do you think it would be a good idea? I need a car under a 1,000 and this one is 800. Give me all your feedback thank you.

Yeah, sure. If it runs great, go for it. The only thing I'd say to you is you get what you pay for. Remember you are only spending a grand here so if it breaks down you may consider walking away from it as cars are major league expensive to fix. Just because it runs great now does not mean it will continue too. It's at least 17 years old. A lot of cars that old get more expensive to fix as they rust. That means more parts as things break as they are taken apart. Anything that runs is worth a grand.

good car, cheap tires, I would think that it would be a good fit for you. Make sure that everything works inside and out and make sure that it has decent tires, I dont think that someone would take advantage of you but I would like to see if you can have someone that has a knowledge of cars listen to it run.. Good Luck!

the inline 4 motor was underpowered so i would stay away from it if i was you if its equipped with one. if its a v6 then the motor is good. if it has 200k miles on it or close to it then walk away. most cars need heavy repairs around that milage.
