Well guitar hero helps you learn the basic positioning your finger and strumming but it doesn't help you learn to play a guitar. This is a persona experience but Guitar Hero 3 taught me how to play a lil of Black Magic Woman.

I would probably be better to learn the real guitar cause chicks dig people who play the guitar but not ones that play video games.

Yes I remeber that the add says warning wont make you good a playing a guitar. I play guitar and I suck at guitar hero. It is a waste of time and you should learn a real skill. ^_^

As a player of REAL guitars the answer is YES!!! I'm glad you mentioned this on here - no one is going to pay $10,000 for 90 minutes of you playing a video game - unless they are crazy!

i have been a guitar play for 13 years and i yeah i had to put some work and effort in but it is worth it..... it is so lame to good at a video game like that.... JUST PLAY THE REAL THING!

yea I agree.Guitar Hero makes people think hey if I'm good at Guitar Hero then I can play the real guitar.Which they are sadly mistaken

i started playing GH, then i decided to learn how to play the real guitar. i like the real guitar much better.

it is better to learn real gutair cause it would lead you to a band or something playing guitar hero leads you to the couch
