I noticed that some sights online aren't figuring the due dates right with the leap year coming up! I know it's only by a date, but still!

i'm only wondering because the one day difference means alot to me because the due date would be my mom and her mom's b-day. even if it isn't born on their b-day it would still be special to them!

they do not change from ultrasound to ultrasound...yes the machines may say differently but the day you concieve doesn't so it's still the same!

Hi Jammie --

I'm sure they do, but if you want an exact prediction, go to this site

http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html

and add 280 days from your last period.

Just like everyone else said one day doesn't matter :o)
HOWEVER, Precious, my little girl game at 4:20 in the morning on the day of her due date. But, that baby's gonna come when that baby's ready to come!
Good luck with your pregnancy, Jammies!!

Possibly not but it will only be a one day difference in your due date.

I'm sure they aren't taking it into consideration, cuz your doctor's wheel just has 365 days on it,.. so subtract a day,... if he said it was March 6th, then it would actually be March 5th on a leap year,... good luck, but just so you know, only five percent of babies are actually born on their due dates.

All of the sites I have used have taken the leap year into account, because I am actually due on leap day...haha. I hope that helps. :)

Oh my goodness, one day off isn't going to make a difference. Unless you are induced, I haven't met one person who actually had their baby on their due date. My daughter was 4 days early and I'm 16 weeks pregnant now so who knows what will happen.

my doc did factor it in but its not really that big a deal if yours doesnt. its only off by one day and due dates are only estimates to begin with. they are hardly ever accurate and they change from ultrasound to ultrasound.

i am so sure your mom and grandma won't really care if the baby's due date is on their brithday or not. that baby is special to them anyways. a due date is just an estimation not an eviction notice.

Only 4% of women actually hit their 'due date' anyhow.

It's just a day. Just a day.

my nurse told me the same due date as what I figured out online. So, my guess would be that they are not figuring that in.
