I am still quite young but so far, I know I have learned many life lessons, some the hard way. I have learned that if you choose to look at life as the glass is half empty, then your life will always be half empty becuase life is never really empty. Life is somthing that is brimming full, overflowing. I learned that that hard way, when I let my friends depress me, and trouble me with their problems.
An ex friend of mine, would always cry, she was never happhy because she didnt appriciate the things she had. And she would depress me because she was always depressed. I tried to make her happier...and then one day she turned on me, saying I was being judgmental. And that is when I realized wow...all this time, both of us have been looking at things the wrong way. Life isnt about the boyfriend you dont have, or the fashions you cannot afford. Its about what you make of it. So, I dont talk to her anymore, she is still unhappy, (recently saw her). And now that i have changed my view of my life, I have been smileing a lot more, I have made even more friends then I already have, and its like a gentle soothing breeze came.
The glass of life is never empty in any sort of way. Even if your someone who has literally nothing. Your will to survive, the love for the family, friends and the God you worship is what keeps the glass overflowing.

The only thing in my life that I can change is me and my attitude, if I try to chance anything else I will only get a headache or possibly a heartache...

For me, I think it's that pity is poisonous. Pity for myself or anyone else does more harm than good. Compassion is another story, but feeling sorry for myself or anyone else simply makes things worse.
