This morning i was in the shower brushing my teeth an wen i went to gargle i gaged i dont no if it was from my gargling or that was me gaging cuz of pregnancy? wat do you think? i need and want answers?

the reason why i asked this question is because i might be pregnant and i want to no if ppl gag wen they brush their teeth wen their pregnant thats why i put this question in the pregnant section duhh! and yes i missed my period!

I had that too with both of my kids. My gag reflex was extremely sensitive, and a couple times I even got sick while brushing my teeth. I had to wear v-neck shirts the entire time because I always felt like I was choking and I couldn't lay down flat because of the choking feeling.
I sure hope you are pregnant, and not just getting the flu. :)

Oh dear, I know just how you feel. I am on pregnancy number 2, and throughout both I constantly gag. Especially when I am either: in the shower (too much steam, and feeling a little "closed in", I guess) or when I am brushing my teeth. I think it is totally from you being pregnant. I have found that I can only brush my teeth for about 30 seconds at a time before I start gagging. My advice to you - start brushing your teeth about 7-8 times a day for only a 30 seconds or so each time. If you are like me, it will probably last throughout your pregnancy, so get used to it. Sometimes I will gag just for no reason. And I find that if I eat something small (an apple, some crackers) it usually helps me to feel better. Hard to do at first, because it seems "counter-productive". But it helps. Good luck!!!

If you think you could be take a pregnancy test or see your doctor. But you could gagg for any reason. Now if you were just standing over a pan of eggs that eat every morning and you start gagging then maybe then i wolud say you were pregnant but not from brushing your teeth.

My friend used to gag when she brushed her teeth and was pregnant...in fact that was her first sign all three times! If you think you may be pregnant than you should take a test around the time your period would be due...that's the only way to know for sure! Good luck!

Well you could or couldn't be. I gaged once in the shower and ended up throwing up when I got out, three days later(since I hadn't gotten my period) i took a test and it came out positive! Now im just trying to stick it out for 7 more months. It is a strong possibility. You should take a test to find out and make sure, especially if you havent had your cycle this month.

it may be normal because i gagged everytime i brushed my teeth when pregnant & sometimes threw up.....Just try to not go so far back and brush softer. It should stop
