My baby's heartbeat was 152 bpm.
I know those are old wives tells if it's so much it's a girl or a boy.
I want to hear peoples stories though. What was your baby's fetal heartbeat and what did the sex of the baby end up being?
I go on December 13th for my ultrasound. We'll find out the sex then. This is my first baby and I'm very excited about it.

My baby's heart beat was always above 140. Usually around 156, but at my 20 week u/s it was 148 & it's a girl, so the old wives' tale was right for me. Good luck!!! =)

I have always heard that if the babys' heartbeat is 150 or less it's a boy, higher is a girl.
But I would also like to know that, as my daughter's babys heartbeat is between 180 and 190 at 18w4d.

You can't really tell by the heartbeat. If a baby is awake and moving the heartrate will be fast. If it is resting it will be slow. I've had heart rates range from the 140s to the 160s and all of mine are girls. Congrats on the baby!

My baby's heartbeat is around 150 - 155. He's a boy, and due in a month.

First two - high (supposedly that means 'girl) - both boys.
Third one...started mid-range to high...now it's low...so apparently it's a boy and a girl, all in one baby, according to folklore...not so much. Boy.
My second and my sister's first were due 3 weeks apart...some appts they had almost identical heart rates at that gestational age...mine's a boy, hers is a girl.
My OB finds all of these old wives tales entertaining...but completely inaccurate.

Well my daughter's HB was always higher then 150, now I am 21 weeks pregnant with another little girl and her HB is always above 150. Also my friend just had a little girl yesterday and her HB was always in the 150s
