I put my ex on my cell phone bill as a extension of my line, and we just recently broke up. He said that he will not "screw me" on the bill, but everytime he has said he was going to come up and meet me to pay me some money, he never calls or shows! I disconnected his line, so he can't call anyways! Haha! But anyways, he has left me one message on MySpace saying that he could meet with me last Sunday, and never showed or called... Legally, do I have a leg to stand on?

You can take him to small claims court. Bring copies of your phone bill. You may win.

you can claim that you have an oral agreement or contract with him that he claims he would pay. you could try to bring the case to small claims if you have your bills showing the second line & something that shows he used the phone for his personal use.

I don't know that it needs to become a legal issue. Everyone runs to a lawyer these days. I would try being more proactive or try a few more times and then possibly make a court case out of it. Chances are, it will cost you more to file than what he owes you.

Legally no you do not unless there was a prior written agreement nothing will hold up in small claims court.
