download the latest video drivers for that laptop model (video card).
you could also have a loose connection on the LCD panel or where the LCD connects to the video card - common in laptops.
worst case you have a bad LCD panel or video card. Even worse a bad mainboard - not likely but possible.
check for viruses and spyware. (download Spybot from www.safernetworking.org for a spyware check)
good online virus check....

the answers here sometimes amuse me.
lets make it clear viruse make a computer slow and run processes, thats the most of it. but she has a hardware issue.
I dought its a virus, but try to back up your drive if you can. your could have bad video and drivers are not always the answer, generly when the system freezes up its a conflict with something on the board is defected. plug a different moniter to the laptop and view of it. it the issues persist you have a board issue.

Hi there!
I'm an IT student right now. I can help you with your problem!
First, try doing disk defrag, to make some more space on your computer. This will make your computer a bit faster and it'll reduce the freezing as well.
As for the colour change, try restarting your computer or make some changes with the settings.
Hopefully, this helps!

Hi,
please try this, just download a copy of CCleaner ( link http://ccleaner.com/ ) then use it to safety delete all your temp files, then just defrag your Hard Drive. your system is full of rubbish and windows can't run correctly this should fix your problem I hope.
