Where do you think Federal Government money comes from that they will use it to "compensate" tax payers? Are you asking if there should be tax cuts to compensate for inflation? Since higher taxes account for a large portion of inflation, I would say cutting taxes is a solution to inflation, not something owed because of it.
Rja, that is too much crap to pull out of only your *ss, so who's *ss did you pull that out of? Michael Moore's? There's plenty of room in there to store lots of that kind of crap.

Government policy and out of control spending causes the inflation, so what exactly is the solution here?
Government runs up a huge debt, forces inflation on the people, and then... borrows more money to help the people affected by inflation?
The government needs to run a sustainable financial plan, and then inflation won't be a problem in the first place. You can't borrow your way out of debt, and you can't spend your way out of being broke.

The Federal Government should use your taxes for services that as you intended. Not as political plum jobs for their cronies and payoffs to Halliburton. The game is they give your Public money to corporations, and the corporations launder the public money and call it Free market profit. Then they take the money, now called private sector money, and give it back to the politicos in the form of political donations. So you pay taxes that end up being used to line the pockets of political hacks... Cheney got 20 million dollars of your taxes from Halliburton. He said it was great being in the private sector.
It's my own stuff.

Let me see if I understand your plan:
Taxes are going to go up so we can pay back some of these taxes to people because taxes went up.
Sorry, does not make sense.
Instead lets trim the fat from the budget and collect the needed taxes to pay for that budget.

They can start by raising the wage minimums to meet the cost of living, plus another 15% for savings.
