I'm just curious, is there any way that I can get this baby to come out and meet the world in the next few days? Any exercises ( besides sex, my doctor advise me against it) and I've tried spice but I eat and have eaten spice lots all through my pregnancy so it doesnt really affect me....and I dont have any money at the moment to go out an get any special oils or capsules....
I'm just so uncomfortable, and want my baby now. I've had definite signs that it will be soon, increased braxton hicks and losing my plug, nesting...but what can I do to just push it a lil closer? Thanks ladies!

why does stimulating the nipples sometimes do the trick? I've heard that a few times, but my nipples are constantly sore right now and it doesnt feel good or anything, so I dont understand how it works:)

Have you tried going for walks? That helped with my oldest.
I should also add that, most times, it doesn't really matter what you do, that baby will come when he/she's good and ready. I tried everything I could think of with my son and he was still two weeks late.
I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice though.

Exercise is always good. Go for a short walk (not too far from home!) or bounce lightly on an exercise ball. If you have stairs, walking up and down the stairs is supposed to help out. But my best advice to you is: try to rearrange your thinking. Pretend your due date is November 22nd instead. I know this won't be easy - but just because today is your due date does not mean the baby is necessarily ready to come out. The next few days or weeks will be VERY long ones unless you can try to do everything you can to get your mind off of your due date. Try to focus on other things, just for your own peace of mind. Good luck!!!

You don't say WHY your doctor advises against sex.
Usually if all is well for delivery, they will say sex is one of the best ways to get labor going(if baby is ready).
Nothing will work until the baby, and your body is ready for delivery, and you could very well cause problems for your child...I realize how uncomfortable you may be(I have been in that position 6 times)...but ultimately, your baby's well-being should supercede your feelings of being uncomfortable. I promise you, you won't be pregnant forever.
p.s. Castor oil is not recommended as a labor inducer, it could cause the baby to swallow it's own meconium in the womb, and can lead to respiratory problems for them.

try walking around or do something boring like i went to see a movie at the lowes. Also i hear that a warm shower can help. but only 5% of women deliver on there due dates and you will still have to wait untill active labor or you will be at that hospital for hours. Congrats

raspberry leaf tea is not expensive but if you can't even get that then stimulate your nipples all day. Do one for 20 minutes and then the other for 20 minutes and keep going back and fourth. You will probably get very bored but keep it up.

Take a few walks around the block. Not jogging, just walking. :"Due dates" can be wrong. Trust your doctor, he's not going to let you go too long.

A lot of swinging on a swing set helps.
