Privy prop? It says he is hoping someone will want to mass produce it after seeing it on Ellen's show. He got the idea in a doctor's office. It is pretty neat! I am surprised some grown man hasn't invented it years ago!

Chip Monk I am horse laughing!! Yaahooo for him! Kids are amazing aren't they?! Well when the thing is made and the price comes way down I will get one! At my house we still fight about the toilet paper roll (hey wait! I just had a eureka moment! Hmmm) and my boys not rinsing out the sink after shaving, they make such a mess of the sink! .. not to mention the toilet bowl drips! Oh to have my own louve!! lol!

Kids today are starting to realize their potential more and more and I'm so happy about that. This is a great invention but did you see the backpack umbrella? What a mind on that girl huh? And the "wedgie proof" underwear twin girls invented? They just rip away when someone tries to give you a wedgie! Awsome idea for those poor little kids who have to worry about bullies. Maybe now this childish action will stop!

That is amazing! Some people just seem to have the desire and know -how to solve problems. It's a good sign for the future. Thanks also to cntrhnny for the wedgie link. Another example of kids solving a problem. That Chip Monk is a riot!

I think it's a great idea!!! I read in the piece that the family wasn't sure they were going to patent it; I hope they DO, because that could put the kid through school (along with his siblings and probably half his elementary school, if it's as popular as I suspect it will be!!!). At least, thanks to the article, he has proof that HE invented it.
Just goes to show - you're never too young - I say good luck to him!

Out of the mouth, hands of babes. You just gotta love em. Many are so talented.
I guess we could fight about the tooth paste cap or putting the paper on the roll, those were biggies at my house.

No men around now but it sure would have helped keep my poor butt out of the toilet when the boys were little and I got up to go without the light on. SPLASH! BRRR!

They'll continue to fight over whether the toilet paper roll goes on under or over.
