I don't buy potatoes casually. If you can be casual about a potato purchase, you're not taking your potatoes seriously enough. Who cares about the fruit? Everyone washes their fruit before they eat it anyway (well, we all do after hearing this question). But potatoes - casual? You really need to address some priorities in your life, if you can buy potatoes casually!
And who buys potatoes by the pound, anyway?

No, I have NEVER licked fruit at the super market.
I do, however, purchase potatoes in the 5 pound or 10 pound bags.
