Can you set those pages to private/friends only? How?

Can you prevent people that are not at your friends' list from finding you there? How?

Thank you for the help!

Yes, on Multiply you can set everything so only your contacts can view what is on your site. I don't think you can prevent others from finding you there, but if you set everything to Contacts Only, no one else can see anything on your site except your site name & your "Home" box. If you want to know what non-contacts see when they visit your site, go to the bottom of your page and click on "View This Page As Another User".

EDIT: Robert--the rest of the cat is on Multiply. ;)))

I do not have a Multiply account, but in the Yahoo!Mash (beta) product, you can set your pages to private/friends only by selecting "Settings" at the top of your Mash page. You can remove your name from searches via the "Settings" link as well.

Taken from Yahoo! Help for Mash:

If you don’t want to be searched on Mash by a certain email, you can add it to the Mash “do not call list”. You must first add the email address on your email management page (Don’t know how? Click .) Once you have verified and added your email address, click the blue “remove” link located next to it. Once you click “remove”, you should be notified by a pop up that you are removing that email address from your Mash account. Check the box: “Add this email to the Mash "do not call" list” and select “delete”. Note that you won’t be able to have a profile created under this email address.

Here is the Yahoo!Mash Help Link for additional info on "Settings":

Anyone can find your page... but you can set each catagory, and each item in each category to contacts only. I have a few things open to the public, and tons of stuff only my contacts can see...

Edit: Robert... just delete the oversized comments if they screw up your page, some of the glitter ones do that. I'm really liking multiply, what other problems are you having?

what I would like to know, how do you get floating cubes that are stretching your comment box all to heck smaller? If you know that, or how to make multiply worthwhile at all, let me know. Hey , beano, cute cat head. what happened to the rest of the cat?
