Robertson is overlooking Giuliani's stance on abortion because he sees the dangers we face with rough nations today. Abortion is not going to be an issue if radical Islamics overthrow our country!
He and Giuliani have been friends since 2003 when they took a flight back from Israel together and talked for the entire flight. Although they do not completely agree with each other, Robertson sees the drive, motivation and dedication that made Giuliani the best Mayor in history. Don't tell me that you and your closest friends agree on every issue! We need a strong 'crime fighter' to take care of our foreign policy and the worlds view of our nation and Robertson knows that Giuliani is the one for this job.
I have not chosen a candidate yet, however, I agree with Robertson on this point. Giuliani will NOT back down as Bush has done and in that aspect, he would make a great President.

each and each guy or woman who says "I hate Pat Robertson" is going to vote for Hillary no count what, so their comments are beside the point in this difficulty. in my opinion, Pat did this with a view to end a chop up of the Republican vote. A worst-case state of affairs could be a repeat of the 1992 election, the place bill Clinton have been given elected with rather decrease than 50% of the vote by using fact Ross Perot chop up conservatives. Pat Robertson did no longer help Rudy Giuliani, he in simple terms supported the (presently) maximum suitable non-Democratic front runner, that's a sturdy attitude for any conservative.

That it will probably hurt Giuliani more than it will help him.
On 9-13-2001, Robertson agreed with Falwell that America deserved 9-11. His judgment now, that America deserves to have Giuliani as president, is not exactly a ringing endorsement.

That both of them put political expediency above any moral or idealogical principle.
Giuliani, as a crossdressing, thrice married, social liberal needs help garnering votes from the religious nuts on the lunatic fringe of the Republican party. In private, he no doubt has zero respect for Robertson's religious beliefs or agenda, but hey - if it will get him a few votes from those nuts he'll shake the guys hand.
For Robertson the endorsement seems to make very little sense. After all, Robertson is a right-wing religious nut of the first order and it doesn't seem like he'd get in bed with someone who is pro-choice, pro gay rights and has a very messy personal history and is a cross dresser to boot. SO, I can only conclude that he was willing to put all of his idealogical concerns aside in exchange for SOMETHING from Giuliani. I shudder to think what that SOMETHING must be.

As a conservative Christian I was taken aback. As much as I like and respect the Mayor, I will most likely not vote for him.
I cannot support a pro-death candidate. Which is why I voted for McClintock instead of Arnold here in California.

I heard this on the car's radio, while driving yesterday.
My FIRST thought was : "WHAT IS GOING ON??? WHERE DID THIS (STUFF) COME FROM"??? 'Why Is Pat Roberson endorsing anyone this early in the game, with a year to go?'
Sorry I can not answer my own question, and usually I can come up with some kind of answer to my own questions, irregardless of how stupid I sound to ME.

Robertson used the plural "we" many times in his speech. I hope the IRS cracks down on Robertson's "religious" organization.
Giuliani will be a very hard sell to the evangelicals except for the sheeples.

A contradiction. An oxymoron. Giuliani and Christianity....doesn't seem to mix. A man who had multiple marriages(which one was his cousin), lies on many occasions, and dresses up like a woman is associating himself with a Evangelic....doesn't make sense to me. However, it's a smart tactic to gain votes from Conservative Christians.

He supports abortion, how much money was donated to get the approval, he may be our next President thedemocrats per their core are attacking one another witch weakens their base. People hate hatred and the dems do not seem to know this or even care about it, it is a systemic porblem in their party.
Denial and displacement is their golden rule.
