no, really i don't think so. i like to think that we have learned from our mistakes and that there won't be a very bad recession. it's possible things may be slightly worse then before but there shouldn't be a major depression. actually i think we're already in a bit of a depression. you should really ask this question in the financial section.

G. Bush says the economy is "strong" however, where I live, in a fairly large town --- people are getting laid off left and right (I'm one of them)....everywhere I go, i either meet someone who is laid off or has a relative or knows someone who is -- it's horrible. Wouldn't surprise me at all.
