They were indoctrinated into that kind of thinking all through their school years. Some of them will wake up if the realities of life confront them, but far too many will simply accept government telling them how to live their lives. Long live conservatism.

What do you stand to gain from asking this question? Affirmation that your thought process is correct? Or an argument from a bunch of people you'll never see in person so you can claim that you had 30+ people answer your question? I don't understand why you would ask this.

No, I don't think ignorance has a Liberal bias.

Corporate America already tells you these things through whatever party happens to be in the White House and Congress at the time.

And then they keep you busy arguing amongst yourselves about liberals vs. conservatives, men vs. women, blacks vs. whites, etc.

And buddy, if you're making less than low six figures a year you are being suckered.

Were you not paying attention?

Have you read any on the amount of money we are spending in Iraq? Do you know what that has done to our economy? Do you realize that to finance this war we have borrowed heavily from China and that a number of countries aren't interested in loaning us money anymore? Do you realize China could call in the debt and crush our economy if they felt like it? (Not in their interest currently.) Do you recognize that the dollar is devalueing vs. foreign currencies to all-time lows? Do you understand the financial implications of that? Do you know how inflation works? Do you realize that actual PALLETS of American cash money went missing in Iraq? Do you realize what we pay Evangelical owned Blackwater to have a single pseudo-soldier guard someone in Iraq, vs. what we would pay to have one of our own law abiding soldiers do it? Do you realize that the current Republican president has betrayed conservative values and is bleeding American tax dollars to private corporations under the protection of the slogan "war on terror".

I would guess you didn't know all of that, a.k.a. were ignorant of some of it, so there is your answer.

Go ahead and toot your horn about being conservative and therefore wise, but don't be one of those Republican Tools who confuse that with being Republican.

Socialism is termed a political movement, but to me it is more of a simple reaction. It is what happens time and again when corrupt ruling elite screw over the masses one time too many. If you want to stop socialist thought from empowering the liberals, put the conservative house in order.

To be conservative, is by definition, one who adheres to a defined, consistent set of beliefs.
To be liberal, by definition, is to be open to a range of possibilities and not identify with only one right way.

Ignorance, is THE LACK OF AWARENESS OF OPTIONS, TRUTH'S OR POSSIBILITIES.

Therefore, by the laws of probability, a conservative is more likely to be right on any ONE given position (that requires being narrowly defined to be more accurate).
The liberal is more likely to be right on the options, choices and possibilities- therefore LESS ignorant of the bigger picture..........

Is that supposed to be a new concept? Far left wing liberals are often proponents of a socialistic type government, if not the whole shebang at least some socialist programs, i.e. universal health care, etc.

I rather suspect that ignorance is an "equal opportunity" condition. There seems to be plenty of it spread among both liberals and conservatives.
