Is there a trick to getting a Brother MFC-7820N to do double sided printing? Just selecting to print on both sides in preferneces doesn't do anything! Is there a special way you have to feed in the paper or something?

Check the links below. Off-the-top, I don't see where your printer automatically prints both sides -- in which case you would have to print one side, flip the printed paper and reinsert, then print the other side.

Think about it - my experience has been that printing on both sides sometimes yields a shadow - I have given up on it. I print singly, then Xerox two sided.

But HOW do you turn the paper over ? There are several ways, and then you have to do reverse printing order on the second pass.

Looking at the spec of your printer i dont think its a duplex printer its does not say it is and they normally do so you will have to turn the paper over and put back in
