Because our country was not founded to become a socialist state. The American character is defined by independence, hard work and family not dependence, excuses and anything goes.

Funny, I'm from Texas. I was in the UK 5 weeks ago and heard the same thing you are talking about.

The reason is this! Our media (sadly enough) doesn't like front runners that are waining. They would rather see some exciting and developing news that an underdog is gaining in the polls. They focus the negative on the front runner (in this case Hillary).

Also, our media (US media) is investigating Hillary's documents while she was the First Lady and asking why they haven't been made available to the public - what is she hiding they say. The media is raising suspect to create a story.

Not much mention of Monica these days. But stay tuned, I'm sure the media will connect a dot somewhere.

You ask if her policies are bad or something!

I don't agree with her at all, but I think the media is focusing on her constant flip-flopping on her beliefs. She will state a position one day and contradict her position days later.

First off the US is not against her.

Why are people against her policies? Becuase she has already admitted to telling people what they want to hear to buy votes. She has admitted in an interview, that "most of my proposals will never pass" so why does she keep championing new ones? She's a politician at heart and a beauracrat by nature.

Those aren't qualities of a leader. She is a good senator, she will not be a good President. SHe is a group thinker, which is quite ok and not a negative aspect at all....unless you're in the "leadership" seat. Our govt has three equal branches for a reason, beauracrats in one, judges in another and then a leader at the helm. They are all equally powerful, but one position holds more power than any other and thats the Prez. All the others are groups of people.

And on a side note, history will look back on the last 20+ years of American politics and say "this was the beginning of the end for this dominant world power"

Bill is the demorcart version of Reagan. And I dont care if people disagree with me, history will tell it all. Just watch, its already poked quite a few holes in Bills legacy.

heroine?
what are they feeding you over there about her?
she's conniving, a liar, a Socialist, ruthless, guileless and without any qualifications other than the fact that her husband ran the country at one point... and did a passing-fair job at best!

She has no chance of being elected... after all, here she is a year away from the election and not only does she have a 47% unfavourable rating amongst Americans polled at random, but she's also crying that the other candidates are 'ganging up' on her and are part of the 'boys' club' so I'd say she's showing she doesn't have thick enough skin to survive a full campaign.
After all, she sure can dish out the accusations, even calling a decorated general a liar... but when people call her on anything or ask her to answer a simple yes-or-no question without first checking the popular polls... she crumbles.

Mostly her opponents don't want her elected because she's a woman, and she isn't an extreme right wing nutcase like the current incumbent. I have to laugh when I hear Americans deride her as being bad for the USA, as she is regarded as a socialist....whilst conveniently forgetting that Bush has been by a considerable distance the worst president in the country's history. Trade surplus turned into a multi trillion dollar deficit, disastrous war in Iraq with thousands of US and tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens dead, has successfully turned the huge level of global empathy with the USA after Sept 11th attacks into worldwide contempt, has left the dollar so weakened that it is barely more valuable than the Cuban peso, has overseen the virtual destruction of the US property market....shall I go on? I mean..... how the bloody hell could Hillary Clinton do any worse!!?

Oh, and to an US citizens reading this; just think yourself lucky you only had Tony Fecking Blair on the odd occasion, we had to put up with the unctuous little tw@t for 10 years

Hi,
Yes,I too think that she would destroy the U.S.A. She is not what a lot of people think she is.They need to get all the facts about her.I remember when her,and her husband were on a plane and doing drugs. And they were making out like they didn't do anything wrong.

Hilary is a flippflopper as she complians about the intelligence used to justify the Iraq war but also voted for it and refuses to repede her vote. She really is a complete fake.

Hillary is an opportunist. A consummate liar. Her political platform is to turn this country into a socialistic entitlement country. She will take away everyones desire to excel because no one will have to do anything in order to a "good" life. Which will drastically raise taxes.

Do you really think she didn't know of her husbands serial dalliances? You bet she did and the only thing she was mad about was that he got caught by his DNA.

It is hard to say what her policies are because she changes her opinions based on who she is talking to. She will say anything to get elected! She really did poorly during the last debate because she flip flopped 4 times (during the debate!) on a question about illegal immigration. She is down 10 points in the polls after that fiasco. If she is anything like her husband, she will wait to see what public opinion is before making a decion. That is not leadership!
Oh, and apparently you cant ask her any tough questions any more because then she says you are picking on her because she is a woman! If she cant stand up to a few men and some journalists in her own party, how in the world will she stand up to terrorists and fascist leaders. I guess her husband will step in and tell them to stop picking on her too.

It's not. A minority of Americans might believe that she is against the US, but she holds a commanding lead in the Democratic primary, and polling indicates she's stand a good chance of winning the general election againt the Republican frontrunners. She clearly has a lot of support.

If she's elected, she'll have a lot more - much of it grudging - from those Americans who respect the Office, even if they didn't vote for her.
