Yes, this has happened to me before. I just stick to the policy "I never date colleagues." You're an attractive guy, with the added benefits of being intelligent and fun to be around, so maybe she is genuinely interested. I also agree that she may be trying to get close to you to get information about your old roommate (her old date)... hmmmm...

One to think about, but playing it safe is pretty wise when it's a supervisor of yours. :-) bbjo

if she use to date someone you know.....it sounds like she is basically trying to get close to you to spark a bit of jealousy in this "ex". I think you are doing the right thing by steering clear.........especially, if she is your manager.

I am sure that she must find you attractive to pursue you, but just the same......I am a woman and KNOW that the jealousy factor is in the back of her mind.

I would think he wants to be more than friends and I would also feel violated. If he/she asks me another question I would tell him I busy with my boyfriend and will most likely leave me alone.
