Not me....

I'd have it spent quicker than it would take to read the responses I'm likely to get!

OK, let's be realistic here, if I had $1000 (or £500, as the case would be here), I would have it Duck taped to my body, or somewhere that even if I was picked up, turned upside down and shaken vigorously it still wouldn't fall out!
Anyone stupid enough to accidentally drop a wad of money should be punished for their carelessness, and I am just the man for the job. It's quite cold in Scotland today, and £500 would pay for 2 weeks in southern Spain!!

There is like a law that if noone claims after you handed the money in its yours :D so I would probally hand it in. Hoping that noone claims it .. but also I would check to make sure the cops havent spent it by demanding a receipt and checking back with them for details .. Also this money could be counterfeit so of course I would check that out as well .. I would defo go by the book . The likeness of someone being able to claim this money is near on zero as Im guessing therer is no purse or anything to tie them to it .. so the chances of it being all mine rises :D dramatically and well if someone has that kind of money on them they are probally a criminal anyway hehehe .. and will have to do some explaning why they have it on there person .. ooh yeah , now my eyes have got dollar signs .. then I would put it in bank and it would be converted to my currency ... ooooh yahhhh

No I wouldn't pick it up. In some parts of the world dropping notes is part of a scam. The person then reports the money stolen to the police (or someone purporting to be a police officer) and it can lead to all sorts of trouble ...

In any case it is theft to keep the money.

No, I'd take it to a currency converter place, seeing as I'm not from the US.

But oh God no, I wouldn't hand it back!

I'd have spent it quicker that it would take to pick it up anyway!

Sorry but I'm far to honest. I'd hand it in hope for a reward from the owner, if no one claimed it I may even get the whole lot back!

I think I would hand it in as it may have taken the person a long time to save up that money.
