Yes ... it was second grade and I still remember it. David Barnes ... He was soooo Cute. I used to light up every time he walked by me ... I absolutely loved him. Even used to share my lunch with him.
That's a nice memory for me.
Thanks for reminding me of it.

I was 7, maybe 8 and I had a crush on this sweet little boy with big brown eyes. We were friends at school back then but I was so shy and I was always so happy when he talked to me. I think he turned out to be gay, I haven't seen him since we were about 10 but someone told me he's gay. It's a loss for the ladies but all the better for the (gay) guys. And then there was Kevin Costner, of course....

Sure do...I remember acting like a weirdo and stumbling on my words whenever she was around and staring at her from across the room. Thankfully I didn't turn out to be some psycho stalker! LOL Those were the days though.

Yes, I do. I can still remember what she looked like and what her name was. I don't think we ever forget our first crush.

First? how about first 3? ...there was my pre-K teacher, Ms. Sackaroff... who was an awesome young hottie (by today's standards) and wore short skirts, nearly everyday (in my memory anyway). And yes, a boy can be 4 and size-up a grown woman, even.. in this regard. (Makes me think 2-3x with any little boy that my 6-yr old daughter mentions...)
Then, there was Debbie Rodastra in 1st grade, who actually had a body already forming, at 6 (!!). She was blonde & very fun, and I was behind her desk every day & actually would try to make her laugh (would even sign to her). We were friends, but in those days -- there wasn't any 'play dates' with school mates like today... your best friends were your neighbor's kids. After a year, when I realized I wasn't getting anywhere with her -- I simply traded "girlfriends" with my best friend, and took on her Crush as my new girl (of course, they both didn't know any of this).
Then, there was Linda, blue-eyed cute, long-haired blonde... who overwhelmed anything I thought about -- connected with girls... from 7th grad through, clear to Senior Year of HS. I took her to my Senior Prom, too. She was very sexy - but had nothing else there, you know? I couldn't even talk with her -- but man, did she look awesome (in ANYthing she wore). But, by then, I already knew how to handle my need to be next to her, and had dated so many others.. that I was merely amused that she'd been on that Pedestal for 10+ years.
In fact, after a while.. she'd come over my apartment (when we were in our early 20's) just to hang out... and, she'd be surprised to discover other women there (my girlfriend du jour) and would linger, etc. to talk. But, it just wasn't to be.
Life marches on...

Yes. He was a few years older than me, I guess he still is. We would play "doubles hide & go seek" in the evenings with all the other kids in the neighborhood and I always wanted to be his partner.

Oh yes...my father was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, so I'd sit and watch the games with him...then I fell in love with Charlie Waters.
When he injured his kneee in a game, I cried and cried for him. I sent him a get well card along with my life savings of $5 (LOL) and my lucky rabbit's foot. Believe it or not, he sent back a handwritten thank yu note, along with an autographed picture...oh be still my heart!

Yes. Craig Siminio. He was in 3rd grad and I was in 2nd grade. He didn't know I existed. In my mind he's still pretty.
Then there's the eternal crush...I hope I never see him again. It might ruin the fantasy. He's my Ashley Wilkes.....
