Every nation has one, every several hundred years or so....and generally, the results are healthy. This nation has never once had a single national uprising outside of the Civil War.
With Corporations, media systems, and government ever-encroaching on every aspect of our lives.....don't you all just get sick of the same crap every day?
The American dream, has been outsourced and removed from the American populace. Once, we were taught to go into business for ourselves and not only create income...but create and further on our own personal growth. Now, we're just taught to be automotons in a cubicle. Did you get the memo?
As the American empire falls, do you think this nation is going to just slowly decline? Or do you think the spirits of Americans will finally be reawakened and changes will be made?
Let's look at the facts people, unless a change is made, America will disintegrate.
Opinions? Just keep it civil, and intelligent, no propaganda please.

I'm not speaking of the American Revolution...i.e., the establishment of the nation.
That's a "no kidding" type of answer.
I'm speaking of since the establishment of the nation, and especially since the decline of simple humanity when it pertains to the systems outside of the family that all Americans are privy to being influenced by.
Those systems are mentioned above, and that's only some of them.
Those things that disparage and ruin the mentality of our citizens, the systems that enslave us.
When you keep a person negative, broke (sometimes broken), hopeless, and dependent.....these systems of control are what need to be rebelled against.

Consider this :
Understand the truth of the matter... we have a one party government with 2 clearly defined factions. It does not matter which of the two factions within the party you support.
Does anyone not remember the smokescreen in Florida during the Bush/Gore election. Or the fact Kerry so graciously 'conceded' his run for office near the end? Skull and Bones is a Chapter within the Bilderbergs... of which Bush and Kerry are both members.
The simple fact here is that our votes no longer count. It is a clever facade to keep us comfortable in the illusion that we actually have a choice in the matter. The next US President has already been bought and paid for, and I can assure you that person is not on the side of We The People.
When you consider that several members of our government (to include Hillary Clinton and Rick Perry, to name a couple)have been witnessed attending Bilderberg meetings in secret with other foreign heads of state (which is considered an act of Treason) it should give us all a strong cause for more than just concern.
The bottom line here is that our trusted government is a puppet regime guided and controlled the globalist elite. They are manipulating more than just America. Already, our current President has signed documents that effectively Eliminate the United States, and also grant the office of President sole jurisdiction and power. Power to inflict martial law upon the American People among other things. This was done without the the knowledge or consent of Congress. Let's also keep in mind that Prescott Bush, our current president's grandfather, aided in funding Adolph Hitler. Also that Goerge Bush, our current president's father, asked the american people to forgive the nazi war criminals on national television.
These emergency camps that FEMA is building around the country are not for emergencies. These are Interrment Camps (concentration camps) where the Government intends to depopulate the US.
Has no one noticed all the cameras going up? Or that your vehicle tags and inspection stickers now come equipped with RFID Chips? Or that every Legal Immigrant must get a new Green Card issued (one equipped with an RFID Chip).
Do none of you realize yet that the new drivers licenses and US Passports will also have RFID Chips? Some Companies now require their employees to have RFID Chips implanted in their bodies. I can assure you that these companies are arms of Globalist Elite controlled companies.
If it has a basis in FACT it is not propaganda.
At this point in time, we all have the choice to be the blind sheep that follow on command and submit to their hypnotism and programming, or We can stop living in fear of losing all we have as individuals and start thinking as a free society with a common interest...protecting our inalienable rights. The thing everyone needs to realize is that if we continue to blindly follow as sheep, we will lose it all anyway.
Time to Wake Up to the reality of what is truly going on here.
Fear can be our Strength... or fear can be our weakness.
When the Grip tightens around Your Family's throats, what will fear be for YOU?

Every nation has a revolution every several hundred years or so???? Could you please list 10 nations that have had at least two "revolutions" separated by several hundred years because I can't think of them. How about 5?
The idea of a revolution---where the people rise up and rebel against their own government ----is a pretty new thing. For the most part revolutions over the past 400 years have been a group of people rebelling against an occupying power/colonial government. The American rebellion in 1776 fits in this category.
The French had a revolution in the late 18th c where the people overthrew the folks in power---France had been ruled by a royal family since about the year 1,000. The Russians got rid of the Tsar in the early 20th century and there had been a "Tsar" in Russia since about 1550 or so---before that there was a long line of princes for a few years.
BTW I do not consider civil wars in countries whose political boundaries were created by colonial powers "revolutions" (such as when two rival ethic groups are told they must share a country) nor do I consider a civil war in a country recently vacated by a colonial power a true "revolution."
We can agree that countries go through upheaval and changes of rulers---let's deal with the rest of your question: does the US need a revolution?
If you mean a military conflict---no. The reason other countries have had revolutions is because the people's rights were so limited and restricted that they felt they needed to rebel and forcibly change the government.
If you mean an idelogical shift---that is another story.
Here in the US we have the ability to change the government on a regular basis---it is called VOTING. Don't like how things are going? Get a group of like minded folks together and find someone you think will do a better job and get them elected.
Could the US political leadership use a freshening up? Do we need better people for public servants? Absolutely. The trick is finding them and convincing them to do the job.

Hello from my cubicle...You remind me of the guy who said " I love hard work so much, I can lay down right next to it and go to sleep" And the hard work I suggest you are in bed with is The negative only outcome of your reality. What do you care if or when America crashes and burns. Will you celebrate and be a hero for predicting this event or would you even notice that what America truly is and what we think it is are totally different from each other...America as an Ideal will live as long as people inhabit the earth...While America the reality is slowly changing into whatever the people want it to be...and it is different and slipping and odd and okay all at the same time. The revolution has been going on for a long time...May we ALL win in the end

,I believe the country just happens to be involved in a revolution right now! We have been under siege for many many years, but just haven't had the intelligence to recognize it! In the past few years, the enemy has come out from hiding and shown himself, in the form of LaRaza and other organizations, which are backed by the most un-American organization that has ever existed, the ACLU! I am so afraid that the American people have become SO passive and disinterested that the USA as we now know it, is going to decline to the point of non-existence. That's when we will be exactly like Mexico! Just another sh*t-hole on this planet.

In a way it is already under way. The ideological division is very apparent and with no end in sight. Obama is making some very hard left turns, and many as you well know from yesterdays tea party protest, are getting fed up with the whole mess. It is also well known Mexican drug cartels are using the existing gangs in the USA to traffic their drugs, yet the left wants to continue to want blanket amnesty for these people. I for one am mad as hell and I just don't know how much more I am willing to endure. I urge all clear minded people to ignore the hate from people like member zaphod73, this kind of trolling is useless propaganda which only exist because of ignorance.

Most revolutions are followed by chaos and despotism. One of the few exceptions is the American Revolution, of 1776. The genius of the founders is that they created a strong, stable and flexible system that allows the government to change as the need arises. We don't need to take up arms, we just need to vote.

Yes. We are close to the end. It will not just disappear but it will continually decline. Once people realize that they can vote themselves raises and more welfare the end is just around the corner. When less people produce than there are people who take the system fails. Take a look at most major cities especially like Detroit. More takers than producers.

Yes, I do think it's time...well past time...
Can I do it alone?
In small ways yes.
In big ways?
That's a tougher question.
All I encounter is fat stupid languishing cows to each side of me...Wallmart mentality sheep who say *Life’s just dandy ain't it haw* - while wiping the mayonnaise off their greasy lips.
No way to get through to the well fed and happy - until it's all over with.
And then?
Then they will be the ones screaming - "Why didn't you do anything"!
Of course this could be just the excuse I'm using to not get off my butt and do something about *it* too.
But honestly, this day in age, I don't think I (or any revolutionary group) have a chance in hell of changing anything.
It isn't apathy - it's painful to see truth.
I so hope I'm wrong and something can be done.

Over the years things become more and more centralized.
This has been sped up.
Unless things are deliberately decentralized in all aspects of the society, economy, and government they will all begin to decay.
A revolution to decentralize society, economy, and government, will never have support.
A revolution to lower the standard of living will never gain support.
Our country will continue to centralize and consolidate until, decay and rot sets in...

It's long overdue, the lives of the majority of Americans will continue to worsen until they unite. Maybe they will have to suffer greatly before this happens, like the impoverished people of South America, It's not good to see it.
