My air works, but it does not warm up at all, even when I turn it all the way up, temperature wise. I am going to take it to the shop today but I was wondering what could be the problem? About how much do you think this might cost?

Move to Hawaii and it won't cost you anything.

Coolant level will cause this , do yo notice it changing any when the engine is running faster or going around a corner ? Anyway check that first , and that too can be decieving with the way many systems fill , it will take time for many to get the new coolant into circulation and fixing your problem .
I would recommend checkng the level before going to a shop , anything past that is going to require a trip probably .

Sounds like the fluid from the heater matrix has all leaked out. It basically works like your car radiator system but instead of blowing air outside it blows it inside the car through a seperate system. With no fluid its like having no coolant. No coolant means it has nothing to heat.

No idea of the cost but it most likely means the dash has to come out and the whole matrix replaced as it likely has a leak. The same happened to my own car last year. My father covered the costs however as it was his car at the time.

You could be low on engine coolant, the thermostat could be stuck open, or there may be a problem with the heater control valve, not opening.

good luck.

The price will vary as to the problem.

have you checked the coolant level? if its good you could have a bad heater control valve or a clogged heater core.hope for low coolant or a heater control valve;there the cheapest. if its a heater core grab your wallet ,depending on the make and model it could be very expensive
