What kind of heating unit? Fumes happen when fuel is burned and every fuel would have different emissions.

That is why they are vented outside, so they don't poison you indoors. We poison the outdoors instead.

That depends on what type of heater your talking about. Electric, could be something on the elements. Gas or oil it could be co and co2.
