The best website for Ancient history is

http://www.fordham.edu/HALSALL/ancient/asbook.html

It is a collection of primary resources -- always the best place to start when doing serious research -- as well as links to other primary and secondary sources on the net. In particular,

http://www.fordham.edu/HALSALL/ancient/asbook01.html

has a collection of very good links.

Good luck

You're going to want websites that provide a large number of primary sources. Ancient history isn't my area, but here's what I know from a little bit of research.

I find the BBC websiote pretty good, as it has alot of eyewitness accounts. I also use the Oxford Journals website. Unfortunately, it's up to us, as historians, to determine how boased a sour ce is by looking at its content, origin, and purpose.
